King of The Wind by Marguerite Henry
I would recommend this book to any one who likes horse racing, horses and friendship
beyond what you can imagine! I really like this book because the boy new the ending of the story
all along, he believed in the horse the entire book, no matter what other people thought of him
or what they said about him!

For my independent reading i am reading The Capture-Guardians of Ga'hoole. it is about an owl named Soren who gets taken away from his family in the kingdom of Tyto and is taken to St. Aggies Orphanage for Young Owls. There he meets a new friend named Gylfie and they find out there there are evil plans lurking in the orphanage. they are the only ones who save every single kingdom of owls from destruction! so the two owls later meet two new friends who will help them in there impossible mission ! NOELLE!!!!!
Is the book better then the movie!!!!!! HAIGANN yes, but i would not compare it to the movie because it is way different, totally!!! NOELLE!!!
May 10, I just finished my 1st readers work shop. For that I read Mrs.Frisby and the Rats of NIHM. The book was about Mrs.frisby a lady mouse and one of her sons was sick. He was so sick that he could not go outside. But moving day was coming up soon and if they did not move they would all be killed. And if they did move her son would die. But then she went to the rats and they told her how to fix her problem. IN return she over heard what the humans were going to do to the rats. the ending was happy and i would recommend this book for anyone in this class because it is funny and is realistic and fun and happy! NOELLE!
MY new book is born to rock by Gordon Korman. it is about a boy who has every thing right in life: a best friend an early acceptance to Harvard and is a member of the Young Republicans. then he is accused of cheating on a test and his scholarship is revoked. then he finds out that his birth father is a man who is a lead singer of Purge the angriest and punkest band in america! he goes on tour with them and finds out important stuff about the people he cares about! NOELLE
